Who We Are & What We Do
WHO WE ARE
Founder & Managing Consultant, Scott Davoren, is a recognised industry leader with more than 20 years’ experience working at the intersection of sport, media and technology across Australia, New Zealand and the wider Asia-Pacific region.
Scott has held senior leadership roles across multinational media and entertainment businesses, telecommunications organisations and high-growth independent companies. He is known for shaping commercial strategy, building partnerships, and helping organisations navigate periods of change — particularly as markets evolve through streaming, digital platforms and new audience behaviours.
Through Davoren Media Group, Scott works directly with businesses as a local commercial partner — providing senior-level insight, market knowledge and hands-on execution to help organisations enter, scale or accelerate their activities in Australia and New Zealand.
Engagements are structured flexibly — from fixed-term consulting and short-term project-based work to ongoing retainers — giving clients direct access to Scott’s experience alongside a trusted network of senior industry specialists, without the cost or complexity of establishing a permanent local presence.

What We Do
COMMERCIAL STRATEGY, PARTNERSHIPS & GROWTH
Davoren Media Group supports sports, media, streaming and technology businesses in building commercial strategies and partnerships that deliver long-term value in local markets.
Success today is no longer defined by content alone. It is shaped by how audiences engage, how platforms and venues operate, how technology is deployed, and how commercial models are structured. We help clients assess opportunities, design partnership frameworks, and align business models with local market realities — whether ad-supported, subscription-based, hybrid or emerging formats.
Where appropriate, Rabbit Hole Media complements this work by contributing innovation-led thinking around audience engagement, digital experiences and platform activation.
PLATFORMS, DISTRIBUTION & MARKET LOCALISATION
Davoren Media Group advises on how global platforms and services can be positioned and scaled effectively in Australia and New Zealand.
We support businesses navigating platform fragmentation, device ecosystems, venue environments and partner networks — helping them identify the right routes to market, structure commercial relationships, and localise propositions for Australian and New Zealand audiences.
Our focus is not simply reach, but sustainable market presence — ensuring local operations are commercially viable, competitively positioned and operationally practical.
Sports, Events & Fan engagement
Community remains the most powerful driver of audience and fan engagement, brand connection and commercial opportunity — particularly when combined with the right technology and distribution strategy.
Davoren Media Group works with sports bodies, rights holders, platforms and partners to design market entry, engagement and growth strategies that resonate locally. This includes venue-based experiences across venues, public spaces, digital fan initiatives, partnership activations and broader ecosystem planning.
Rabbit Hole Media’s expertise in fan engagement and creative activation is applied selectively to enhance audience connection and long-term value.
INNOVATION, TECHNOLOGY & THE FUTURE OF MEDIA
Davoren Media Group operates at the point where sport, media and technology converge.
We advise clients on emerging opportunities across streaming, connected devices, data-driven engagement, new commercial models and evolving distribution environments. Our work helps close the gap between strategy and execution — translating innovation into practical, market-ready outcomes.
Rather than chasing trends, we help organisations test, validate and scale initiatives that make commercial sense in Australia and New Zealand.
